The General Assembly will start at 15.00 on the afternoon of Thursday 18th May with the usual formal proceedings in which full members of the association are entitled to vote. In the evening a cocktail reception will be followed by an elegant gala dinner in the stunning Limestone Heritage Park and Gardens. Participants will be transported to this dinner venue in charming vintage Maltese buses. The evening will conclude with the graduation ceremony of Course 11 of the ECG Academy when successful students will be awarded their Certificate in Automobile Logistics Management.
On Friday morning the Spring Congress will include a variety of interesting presentations, including one on the automotive market outlook from LMC Automotive. A detailed agenda will be published here in due course. The event will conclude with a lunch and a press conference for representatives of the press and media.
On Friday evening and Saturday morning an optional social programme is on offer for those who wish to stay longer and experience something more of this historic island. On Friday evening participants can enjoy a torch-lit walk at dusk in the ancient hilltop city of Mdina, the old Maltese capital, followed by a relaxed dinner in the charming restaurant Bacchus. On Saturday morning we have chartered the elegant Turkish Gullet "Fernandez" and will cruise the two natural harbours on either side of Valletta - Marsamxetto Harbour and the Grand Harbour. The Gullet will drop anchor in Birgu so that participants can also enjoy a walking tour of the area. Be sure to join us!
Please note that the registration process will once again be handled for us by a third party called Taylor Bennett in the UK.
Note: This event is open to ECG members and partners only. If you are not sure whether you are entitled to attend, please check with the ECG Secretariat first otherwise your registration could be cancelled and an administration fee will be retained by our agent.
