Justin Cox, Director, Global Production, LMC Automotive

Justin is Director, Global Production, at LMC Automotive. In this role he provides the functional lead and global oversight of the company’s automotive production forecast activity. Prior to joining LMCA in 2013, Justin held key sales and commercial management positions internationally for both Johnson Controls and GKN Driveline. In addition to this, he has held traditional product marketing roles with Mazda (UK) as well as senior analyst roles at RL Polk (Marketing Systems) where he started his career.

With more than 30 years of extensive automotive business experience, he has gained a ‘real world’ insight into the commercial pressures and planning challenges facing the industry throughout the Value-Chain. Justin holds a BSc degree in Economics and Human Geography from the University of Reading.

Jean Christophe Deville (JC), Vice President of Supply Chain at Toyota Motor Europe

JC was born in 1972, in Vitry, France. He graduated in 1996 from IEP Grenoble (Institut d’études politiques de Grenoble) with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) Applied Economics. He is married with two children.

JC is a dynamic leader, with extensive experience within the Automotive Industry covering OEM and supplier companies. He is passionate about promoting partnerships in Supply Chain to face current and future challenges with all stakeholders.

JC is a relentless catalyst for change, with an unremitting Customer-First approach and has a passion for People Development realised through investing in self-managing High Performing Teams.

JC moved into his first leadership role in 1996 as an international buyer for Valeo in China before joining Toyota in 1999.

With a proven track record, JC has held many Executive Management positions within Toyota, including Purchasing Director at Toyota Motor Europe, Vice President of Toyota Motor Manufacturing France, Head of Supply Chain Production & Vehicle Logistics at Toyota Motor Europe.

In July 2023 JC assumed the position as Vice President of Toyota Motor Europe’s Supply Chain, where his mission is to, “Exceed Customers expectations with a team-members in 25 countries, with logistics movements across 120 countries, aiming at delivering their customers superior quality products on-time, in-time and every-time.

JC is passionate about sports, humanity and of course, his family life.

Wolfgang Göbel, President, ECG

Wolfgang Göbel has been working for the Mosolf Group for more than 40 years. He began his career at the automobile logistics specialist as an assistant to the management team and later became head of the sales/marketing and logistics department.

In May 2016 he was appointed to the position of Chief Sales Officer and member of the Management Board of the company. Wolfgang Göbel is responsible in his new remit for all the sales activities and the long-term sales strategy of the group. He continues to exercise his previous positions within the company, which include his tasks as Managing Director of the Mosolf subsidiaries Mosolf Automotive Railway, Mosolf Logistics & Services and SAT Sächsische Autotransport und Service. Additionally, he is responsible in the board of Mosolf for the business units of Mosolf Automotive Releasing, Mosolf Logistics & Services and for sustainability and implementation of the ESG strategy.

Mr. Göbel became President of ECG in May 2016 after the elections at the ECG General Assembly. Prior to this he served as Vice-President of the Association from 2009 and has been an ECG Board member since 2003.

Anike Murrenhoff, Deputy Head of Intralogistics and IT Planning, Fraunhofer IML

Anike Murrenhoff is Deputy Head of Intralogistics and IT Planning at Fraunhofer IML and Scientific Coordinator for Planning and Logistics at the Lamarr Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Her work focuses on the integration of AI into logistics systems – from intelligent planning and optimization to the use of robotics and autonomous decision-making. Anike contributes to national and European research agendas on AI in logistics and is actively involved in strategic networks such as ALICE, where she serves as Vice Chair of the Thematic Group on Interconnected Logistics. She has published widely on AI applications in logistics, including strategy papers, conference contributions, and academic journals, and is committed to bridging cutting-edge research with practical implementation in industry.

Prof. Dr. Alexander Sandkamp, Fellow, Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW)

Prof. Dr. Alexander Sandkamp is Junior Professor of Economics, specializing in Quantitative Trade at Kiel University (Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel), and researcher at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW). He is also affiliated with the CESifo Research Network.

He holds a degree in Economics and Management from Pembroke College, University of Oxford, as well as advanced degrees in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and in Managerial and Financial Economics from HEC Paris. He earned his doctorate from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, during which he was affiliated with the ifo Institute for Economic Research.

His research and policy consulting work—conducted for institutions including the European Parliament and various national ministries within the EU—focuses primarily on the impact of trade policy on international trade, with a particular emphasis on the Chinese economy. His findings have been published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of International Economics and the European Economic Review.
