Project Manager (m/f/d) – Finished Vehicle Logistics

ECG, the Association of European Vehicle Logistics, is a leading non-profit organization representing the interests of the European vehicle logistics sector. Since 1997, ECG represents over 200 member companies and partners, ECG advocates for the interests of businesses ranging from family-owned SMEs to multinational corporations. As the major champion of the European vehicle logistics sector, ECG engages at the EU level across all transport modes, road, rail, maritime, and fluvial.

Our members deliver comprehensive transport, distribution, storage, preparation, and post-production services to manufacturers, importers, car rental companies, and vehicle leasing operators throughout the EU and beyond, including Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Turkey. The association’s members operate an extensive fleet, including over 470 car-carrying ships, 14,000 purpose-built railway wagons, 23 river barges, and more than 26,000 road transporters.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating ECG working groups and project initiatives
• Managing projects from concept to implementation, including timelines and deliverables
• Planning, organizing and moderating meetings, workshops and industry events
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across the FVL value chain
• Supporting knowledge exchange and best-practice sharing within the association
• Representing ECG in meetings, events and industry forums
• Frequent travel across Europe

Skills & Competencies

• Proven operational experience in Finished Vehicle Logistics
• Solid background in project management
• Experience in leading or contributing to working groups or cross-company initiatives
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Excellent communication skills; open, friendly and professional manner
• Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment
• High willingness to travel
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
