The second Maritime & Ports Meeting of the year took place on 26/27 September in Rostock, Germany.
Participants had the opportunity to network in an informal environment during the dinner on 26 September.
The formal meeting took place on 27 September, featuring a compelling agenda and distinguished speakers. Oliver Fuhljahn, Chairman of the Working Group, opened the meeting, extending a welcome to all attendees after which Port of Rostock and Autolink Germany delivered a brief presentation on their activities and new developments. Danique de Jonge, Senior Policy Advisor, European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) presented the latest study on port investment needs and main challenges for the European ports. The meeting proved highly productive, with participants actively engaging in discussions on various topics raised during the round table, including congestion issues at ports and the capacity.
