Cuxport GmbH operates a modern universal port in Cuxhaven, where the Elbe meets the North Sea. Established in 1997, the company provides efficient handling for RoRo cargo, automobiles, trailers, containers, heavy goods and wind-power components. Its two multipurpose terminals offer six berths with water depths of up to 15.8 metres, ensuring reliable, tide-independent vessel access.
Cuxport’s equipment – including height-adjustable ramps, a 100-tonne mobile harbour crane, a Panamax container gantry and powerful reachstackers – supports flexible project and automotive logistics. With 369,000 m² of terminal space and direct links to major shipping routes, rail connections and the A27 motorway, Cuxport effectively connects maritime transport with European inland markets. The port is also a key hub for offshore wind logistics, providing specialised storage areas, jack-up berths and installation support.
