The H&S WG relaunched its ‘Safe Retailer’ sub group to address the issues at the retailer delivery and work towards improving safety standards for all drivers. During the webinar we presented our new escalation process that is available for all ECG members who operate trucks to request ECG’s support if they have been unable to resolve unsafe situations themselves.

Presentation from the webinar is now available.

The retailer escalation process and the retailer evaluation form are published. To access them click on the button below.

Since 2019 the H&S WG has worked continuously on improving drivers safety and ensuring a safe working environment in finished vehicle logistics for all. In 2020 our Safe Loading Guidelines were published – a detailed process, presented in a highly visual way, for all drivers to follow and load in a safe manner. Through its Incident reporting activity the H&S WG also provides a yearly analysis of the most common severe incidents and ‘near misses’ occurring during loading/unloading operations on trucks. More information can be found on our H&S webpage.
