Renault announced the first investor day for its future electric-vehicle company Ampere.

The investor day will take place on 15 November.

Renault CEO Luca De Meo last month said the unit could be valued at up to 10 bn euros ($10.47 bn).

Renault is looking to list Ampere in the spring of 2024, de Meo has said.

Renault is targeting Nov. 1 of this year for the unit to be separated from the rest of the company as a preparatory step in the run-up to the initial public offering.

The carve out of Ampere is part of a wider overhaul at the automaker that will see the EV business separated from Renault's traditional combustion-engine operations as the company seeks to navigate the transition to EVs.
