The UK is the EU’s number one market for vehicle exports. It is also the biggest export market for EU-made battery-electric vehicles.

- Over 20% of the 6.3m EU vehicle exports headed to the UK in 2022 (worth €30.6bn).
- More than 1 out of 10 EU-made cars exported to the UK in 2022 (1.1m units) were battery-electric, worth €5.1bn.
