Allego and the French distribution network operator Enedis have opened 107 public fast-charging stations in France since the start of their cooperation. The duo announced the milestone on the anniversary of their roll-out that started exactly twelve months ago.

The partners recently set up the 107th fast-charging station in Rambouillet in the Yvelines region. Allego says that it now operates 120 public fast charging stations in France and aims to grow to more than 300 charging stations across the country by 2024.

Allego is demonstrating its ability to deploy and maintain charging infrastructure on a very large scale. We want to position ourselves as a partner of choice to support landowners in the valuation of their assets and in their adaptation to the new modes of transport of their customers,” Mathieu Bonnet, Chief Executive Officer at Allego.

In 2023 February, French motorway management company Vinci Autoroutes opened four fast-charging parks built and operated by Allego. Each of the fast-charging parks has four Alpitronic Hypercharger HYC300s with up to 300 kW power and two connections each, as well as a 50 kW column in the form of a triple charger (CCS, CHAdeMO and Type 2) totalling eleven charging points per location.

Allego’s charging solutions are connected to the company’s own EV Cloud platform. In mid-2022, the company purchased the pan-European fast-charging network Mega-E. Since then, of the 100 sites built so far as part of Mega-E, almost 770 charging points have come from Allego.
