The changing landscape of logistics will be the subject of an expert panel at the Automotive News Europe Congress in Frankfurt on 12 June 2024.

On June 11 and 12 in Frankfurt, the 2024 Automotive News Europe Congress will host a series of top-level presentations, speakers and panel discussions on the theme of Exploring Innovation in Automotive.

Speakers will include experts and executives from Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Robert Bosch, Audi, Volvo, Toyota, Jeep and more. Join us in Frankfurt to be part of the discussion about key issues driving the industry's growth and success during this transformative time.

The new world of logistics

Building a car efficiently requires some thousand parts arriving  just in time at a plant and, when the vehicle is completed, this final piece needs to be shipped as soon as possible to a dealer, where the final customer is waiting for it.

In a normal world, logistics – also known as the supply and distribution chain – is a crucial but little-known part of carmaking and distribution, but in the last three years it has been disrupted down to its roots.

The “Innovation in Logistics: Clock Speed or AI?” panel discussion at the Automotive News Europe Congress on 12 June 2024 will explore the brave new world of logistics. Hear from Guiscardo Pin, a member of the board at Reply Deutschland; Jean-Christophe Deville, vice president of supply chain at Toyota Motor Europe; Joris Issartel, vice president global operations and customer care at CEVA; and Bernd Schaefer, CEO and managing director at EIT RawMaterials.
