MOSOLF has decided to bundle its special vehicle construction activities in the future and to bring the two special vehicle companies MOSOLF Special Vehicle Solutions and B&T Solutions under a newly founded special vehicles umbrella company with the name MOSOLF Automotive GmbH.

By focusing its activities on special vehicle construction, the portfolio for specialists for mission control and police vehicles is to be expanded in the future to include vehicles for the "olive" market, thus addressing customers such as the German Bundeswehr, NATO, the UN and similar. This expansion will focus on protective equipment and armor for vehicles of various security classes. Weapons-carrying systems are not the focus of the expansion.

Together with its partner TSD Technology & Secury Developments, MOSOLF has entered into a cooperation for this purpose. TSD is a Spanish company with more than 30 years of experience in research, development, and production of protection components for vehicles, wind turbines and railroads. Commenting on this, Dr. Jörg Mosolf, CEO of the MOSOLF Group says: "We are proud to have a strong partner like TSD at our side."

MOSOLF subsidiary B&T Solutions has been an established supplier of so-called "radio equipment kits" for the German armed forces for years. It has also been successful in upgrading unprotected vehicles, for example for military police, flight surgeons and staff services. The cooperation with TSD also enables MOSOLF to offer solutions in the field of protected land mobility systems. In addition to armor, system providers for command and control and communications equipment, as well as observation technology, among others, will be integrated for this purpose.

"With this network, we complement our existing 30 years of expertise in special vehicle construction and, with our capacities in expansion, we are even better positioned for urgent procurement measures for national and alliance defense." says Christian Kerner, managing director of MOSOLF subsidiary B&T Solutions.
