We are happy to announce that UNIKAI Lagerei- und Speditionsgesellschaft mbH has recently joined ECG!
UNIKAI is a highly specialized multipurpose terminal at the port of Hamburg offering a wide range of logistical and forwarding services. Handling all kinds of Ro-Ro cargoes such as cars, vans, trucks, machinery, break bulk and project cargo amongst others is our daily routine.
UNIKAI connects all modes of transportation: water, rail and road, as well as all terminals within the port allowing effective positioning of project cargo and containers/flatracks. Things are not necessarily run by the book as customer needs are met by tailor-made solutions for many requirements. The driving force of our people are solutions-oriented procedures and great flexibility to respond to individual demands and to meet the highest quality standards at any time.
Not only was UNIKAI the first terminal offering special bio security treatment, we are also entering the next VPC chapter by applying IT-based survey solutions. Digitalization is a strong part of our development in various aspects. All teams, both on the landside, cargo and ship planinng, are in close and daily contact in order to grant effective procedures before the actual movement of cargo starts.
UNIKAI fully supports their customers during the transformation from conventional to climate friendly technologies in order to surpass any sustainability efforts successfully. Ultimatly, the transformation and new structure of UNIKAI terminal is being conducted to meet today's and future demands such as BEV handling, VPC services, electric equipment, workshop, technical/mechanical support and industrial packaging. We treasure personal interaction with our customers and we are at your service, almost 24/7!
