Woodside Distribution is celebrating success after picking up an award for its contribution to the logistics industry.
The UK and Ireland based haulier was presented with the Platinum Award by Pallet-Track at an event hosted by actor and comedian Brian Conley, following a successful year in business.
The accolade was presented on behalf of Pallet-Track for the business’ contribution to its national pallet network, which enables independent hauliers to work together to transport freight around the UK.
Woodside Distribution collected the trophy at Pallet-Track’s annual shareholder gala, held at the De Vere Cotswolds Water Park in Cirencester.
The award comes following a challenging few years for the logistics industry, with Woodside Distribution overcoming the pandemic, HGV driver shortage and rising fuel costs to drive its operation to success and on-going growth.
Simon Woodside, Director said: “We are proud of the whole team’s contribution towards our continued success, which comes at a difficult time for the sector. Despite these challenges, our team has gone above and beyond to keep goods on the move. We are delighted to receive this award and to be recognised for our contribution to the Pallet-Track network and we look forward to building on this success in 2023.”
