COSCO Shipping Car Carriers and Neptune Lines are developing extensive cooperation on ro-ro service optimisation, the companies said.
The two parties have signed a co-operation agreement in Greece for promoting automobile shipping for Mediterranean-North Africa routes.
COSCO Shipping Car Carriers will comprehensively integrate Neptune Lines’ ro-ro service network in twenty-one core ports in the Mediterranean, Black Sea and 12 countries of North Africa, providing a direct connection for automobile shipping and local services between China and Greece.
Based from the port of Piraeus, COSCO Shipping Car Carriers and Neptune Lines aim to establish a brand-new pattern for the automobile supply chain in the Mediterranean.
COSCO Shipping Car Carriers plans to open up the new Mediterranean service in March. With the delivery of 13 new vessels this year, the company said it will further enhance the stability of automobile transportation.
