NAMRITA CHOW, ECG BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

Namrita Chow has over 20 years’ experience analysing markets with a specific focus on the transportation industry. From 2003 to 2014 she was based in Shanghai, China where she followed the light vehicle market writing for leading publications such as Automotive News, Tire Business, Rubber & Plastics News, Automotive Logistics, MG Enthusiast and others before being recruited by IHS Markit to manage their market intelligence reports on China. With a career spanning almost a decade at IHS Markit (now S&P Global), Namrita’s most recent role at IHS was as the principal light vehicle sales forecast analyst for complex markets in the Middle East such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sub-Sahara Africa. Most recently Namrita has been responsible for business intelligence reports for ECG members, focusing on a range of topics which are highly relevant to the European vehicle logistics industry including the development of the Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) Cost Index in partnership with PwC Austria, reports on EU Funding opportunities for FVL players and regular updates on the vehicle export and import dynamics in Europe, with a specific focus on Chinese vehicle exports into Europe. Namrita has an MSc in Economics and Mathematics from the University of London and speaks Mandarin and Hindi in addition to her native English.

JUSTIN COX, DIRECTOR, GLOBAL PRODUCTION, LMC AUTOMOTIVE

Justin is Director, Global Production, at LMC Automotive. In this role he provides the functional lead and global oversight of the company’s automotive production forecast activity. Prior to joining LMCA in 2013, Justin held key sales and commercial management positions internationally for both Johnson Controls and GKN Driveline. In addition to this, he has held traditional product marketing roles with Mazda (UK) as well as senior analyst roles at RL Polk (Marketing Systems) where he started his career.

With more than 30 years of extensive automotive business experience, he has gained a ‘real world’ insight into the commercial pressures and planning challenges facing the industry throughout the Value-Chain. Justin holds a BSc degree in Economics and Human Geography from the University of Reading.

Niklas Dilger is a Senior Manager at PwC Germany within PwC Advisory.

He is specialised in Commercial Excellence topics with over 8 years of professional Consulting experience. Niklas has led numerous projects on Growth Strategy, Pricing and Sales Excellence across various industries and countries.

PROF. DR. FRIDTJOFLANGENHAN, PROFESSOR FOR LOGISTICS

Fridtjof Langenhan is a professor for Logistics Management at Hof University of Applied Sciences (Germany). His focus of teaching and research lies on logistics services, transportation, outsourcing, green logistics and sustainable supply chain management. He has been the Dean of ECG Academy since 2019. Fridtjof has more than 20 years’ experience in training, education and consulting.

Prior to joining Hof University as a professor Fridtjof was Consultant, Partner and Managing Director of a Strategy and SCM Consulting Company (SMG Supply Management Group St. Gallen and Brain Net Group).

MATTHIAS RIVEIRO, PARTNER PWC GERMANY

Matthias Riveiro is a Partner at PwC Germany within PwC Advisory.

He has over 23 years of professional Consulting experience and a strong focus on the Transportation and Logistics industry with national and international projects ranging from strategy to execution.

ANDREEA MARIA SERBU, SENIOR MANAGER, EXTERNAL AFFAIRS, ECG

Andreea Serbu joined ECG – The Association of European Vehicle Logistics in 2019. Before that, she graduated in International Relations at the Ca’ Foscari University in Venice and moved to Brussels for a traineeship at the Council of the European Union. At ECG, she started as Research and Projects Manager managing joint working groups between ECG Members and car manufacturers on topics such as capacity, health and safety and sustainability and was responsible for the organisation of some ECG events like the Eastern Regional and the ECG Academy Alumni meetings. Since May 2022, Andreea is Senior Manager External Affairs and focusses on fostering the association’s relations with members, partners and the industry while staying responsible for the sustainability working group and its main project on standardisation of emissions reporting and calculation in automotive supply chains.

BEN WALLER, ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ICDP

Ben plays a leading role in managing and delivering ICDP research and consultancy activities. His specialist area is new vehicle supply and has worked with OEMs in a variety of benchmarking and advisory roles, and he has also increasingly worked on new mobility services. Ben’s association with ICDP started in 1999 when he joined the 3DayCar programme.

He also undertakes independent consultancy and research, including outside automotive, occasionally writes for business press, and is a visiting lecturer at Kempten Business School, Germany.
